Mike Perina · builder since 2012

The thing you keep describing can be real.

I build the custom tools, dashboards, and automations you keep sketching in your head — for people who know exactly what they need but don't have a technical team. Your tangent, built.

The smallest builders

I gave them the tools and got out of the way.

All four of my kids — 9, 11, 11, and 13 — each shipped a usable product in one day, with zero help from me. The AI partner I built (Kit) ran in the background. The friction is what we were always missing. That's the whole studio in one sentence.

He started with one game. Then he wanted a hub. Then he wanted a Brain Lab. He didn't ask permission — he just kept building. The DBZ obsession became the universe. The school worksheets became the next site.

On the left, gryffins.games — DBZ chaos, roll/fight/spin/survive, a shipped game universe with multiplayer. On the right, the Brainlab — 23 subjects, logic puzzles, a sandbox, two hours of work and it still hums. He named every mode and every subject; we shipped both.

Brycen, age 11

Age 11 · 1 day · 0% help

Brycen went first. Once he started creating he never stopped — he was the catalyst for sparking his brothers' imagination. He wanted recipes. Then tips. Then a tips leaderboard. Then to PRINT a cookbook. There was nothing between him and any idea he could think of from stopping him.

Westen, age 11
Westen
Age 11 · 1 day · 0% help

Westen's the chaos engine. Drawings spilling out faster than anything could catalog them — so we flipped it. Open his site on a phone, scribble badly with your finger, AI makes six finished sticker styles in six seconds, pick favorites, print a hologram sheet on the Epson, cut with scissors. The kid doesn't need to be good at drawing — he just needs to start.

Finger-scribble on the canvas → AI generates 6 styles (Classic, Anime, Pixar 3D, Sketchy, Pixel, Watercolor) → tap favorites into a tray → build a sheet on regular, hologram, or glow-in-the-dark paper → print on the Epson → scissors. The whole loop in about a minute.

Keaton wanted a 3D house. Specifically, he wanted to walk into it on the Quest. Five rooms later he had a multiplayer XR experience with voice chat, build mode, and friends teleporting in from a browser tab.
